Are there wineries open in the winter time?
Yes, click on the 'attractions' link, and the list is provided there.

Is the pool heated throughout the winter?
Yes, the pool is heated to 84 degrees. The hot tub is set to 102 degrees, but can be set to your preference.

Is there shopping nearby?
Yes, there is Eastview Mall, a Super Walmart, TJ Max, Wegmans, Bed Bath and Beyond and the Geneva Waterloo Outlets are ½ hour away with many stores available.

 How far away is the public launch?
5 miles down the road.

Are linens provided?
Yes, linens and towels are provided.

Are there neighbors?
Yes, we have neighbors on one side of the house and an empty lot on the other side. The empty lot does not belong to us, it belongs to our neighbors across the street, so please respect their property and do not use the empty lot. This is a residential street, please respect our neighbors and obey the local rules and regulations.

Are fireworks permitted?
No, fireworks are not permitted at the property. The City of Canandaigua puts on a very nice firework display for the 4th of July and for Labor Day.

Is the house handicap accessible?
No. There are 4 wide steps into the front entrance way. There is a one bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. Once down the four steps, the kitchen, living room, pool, bedroom and bathroom are all wheelchair accessible.

Can the In-law suite be rented by another family if we don't rent it?
No. If you rent the main house and not the in-law suite, no one else can rent the in-law suite.

Is there a marina nearby?
Yes, German Brothers Marina is available for rentals, gas and repairs. Visit them at www.germanbrothers.com.

Are there restaurants nearby?
Yes, visit the 'attractions' link for a list of restaurants.

Is the home available for weddings?
No.

Are pets allowed?
No. Pets are not allowed on the property. Violators will be subject to a fine.

Is smoking permitted?
No, smoking is not permitted on the property. Violators will be subject to a fine.
